AT&T 4Q profit rises 17 percent
AT&T Inc.'s fourth-quarter earnings rose 17 percent, the telecommunications company reported Thursday, reaffirming its growth target for 2007 and raising projections for the cost savings expected from the just-completed buyout of BellSouth Corp.

UK iPod accessory maker Gear4 has announced its new portable speaker system for the iPod nano, StreetParty N2. StreetParty N2 is compatible with both varieties of nano (1G, 2G) and is available in black or white. It offers two 3-watt stereo speakers and is designed to look like a mini boom box.

Norway Pushes Apple To Open iTunes
In an attempt to make iTunes compatible with multiple music players, Norway has threatened to sue Apple if it does not open access to the music store and its software by October 1, 2007.
