March 23 (Bloomberg) -- Germany's DAX Index rose, posting its biggest weekly gain in a year. Volkswagen AG and DaimlerChrysler AG surged. The DAX Index added 42.10 euros, or 0.6 percent, to 6899.06 as of the close in Frankfurt.
